Did you know?  Banyule has the second largest population of Somali Australian families living in our region, in all of Australia.

AWAG

AWAG is a fortnightly youth program. It involves fun activities such as crafts, game nights, and wellness sessions. The main aim is to provide a safe space for young women to be themselves and build strong connections with others who share similar interests.

The SALDHIG Project

The SALDHIG project has supported Somali-Australian young people and their families over the past two years.  Over 4000 community members have taken part in the project!

Young people and their families have been supported to celebrate and share their culture, build intercommunity relationships and access more inclusive services and supports.
