Join us for an immersive experience in the Vault!

The Australian Music Vault is a new exhibition at Arts Centre Melbourne that will celebrate the past, present and future of Australian contemporary music.

Delving into the extensive Australian Performing Arts Collection, objects will be on display for schools and the general public that will inspire and engage, telling the stories of the Australian music industry and its fans.

Starting with a guided tour of the Australian Music Vault exhibition, this workshop takes you deep into the art of lyric writing. Inspired by some of Australia’s finest lyricists, like SiaNick Cave, and Midnight Oil, you will have the opportunity to analyse what makes a great lyricist using examples from the Vault, then create your own masterpiece with guidance from experienced songwriters at The Channel.
