E-focus and Banyule Youth Services are hosting an information session for young people and their parents/carers who are interested in learning how to secure a part-time or summer job.
The information session responds to enquiries made to Youth Services staff and the team at Shop 48 about navigating part-time job opportunities, and what young people might need to do to stand out from the pack.
It promises to be a practical session, with lots of valuable tips drawn from the point of view of prospective employers and young people who have survived the learning curve of their first job.
The information session will take place next week on:
Wednesday 13 December from 4.30pm to 6pm
at Shop 48 the Harmony Centre, located at the Bell St Mall (next to Vinnies). (Bell Street Mall, Corner Bell Street and Oriel Road, Heidelberg West)
