Northcote Town Hall’s Kris Kringle Night Markets return over four Thursday evenings this November and December. Celebrating our rich artistic community, the Kris Kringle Night Markets feature over 60 stalls selling unique locally designed and hand crafted items including designer fashion, jewellery, kids’ items, ceramics, woodcrafts, homewares, artisan sweets and much more. 

Bring the family and enjoy free live music and face painting on site each week. A licensed bar will be open on site throughout, allowing you to make a night of it while you browse for some genuinely special Christmas gifts, or a few hard earned treats just for yourself.

The evening will include performances by groups from a range of Jets programs, exhibition of various multimedia artworks, the world premiere of the Best of Jets 2015 Film, and presentation of awards and certificates.  Finger food and light refreshments will be provided.

Melbourne Underage Dance Event Details

Classes are over, exams are finished, and holiday homework has been assigned (and promptly ignored). Celebrate end of the year and kick start summer with Minus18's biggest, best, and final dance event of 2015. Schools Out!

Doors will open at 4pm, and from there it’ll be 6 hours of dancing to good tunes and even better people. Come in your school uniform (or someone else’s) for discounted entry! Our lovely Crew will be meeting at Flinders Street Station at 3pm to get you to the party on time, and its a great way to meet people if you’re new to our events.

This event will be strictly drug, alcohol and smoke free.

See Melbourne’s musical stars align on New Year’s Eve 2015 as Fed Square presents a concert featuring some of the very best talent the city has to offer.

Combining a powerhouse live show of music and entertainment and a great spot to watch the city fireworks, Fed Square’s free New Year’s Eve celebration will be a party to remember. From African beats to modern electronic, jazz to Japanese folk, and R&B to soul, The Square will be brought to life in brilliant fashion – reflecting Melbourne’s rich and diverse music scene.

African dance group, Asanti Dance Theatre will shake things up with a high energy set fusing acrobatics, live percussion and dance, followed by a show-stopping performances from So You Think You Can Dance 2014 finalist Nadiah Idris, Melbourne soul songstress Thando (The Voice 2014), and Jason Heerah and the Chosen Ones (X Factor 2014).

Other artists taking to the stage include Noriko Tadano and George Kamikawa, Wadaiko Rindo, Kaiit Waup, Nhatty Man and DJ Thomas W Butt.

Sing and dance your way to midnight as Melbourne’s stars celebrate the year that was with a show-stopping rendition of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”!
