Seeking volunteers interested in diversity and stamping out homophobia

We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about diversity, equal right and stamping out homophobia to help out with planning and crewing a tent at the upcoming Banyule Youth Festival.

The tent is all about bringing rainbows to Youth fest (11th September 2016) and promoting diversity. This is your chance to volunteer some time to promote diversity and have some fun.

Current Ideas (that we need to build on);

  • Have a big rainbow flag that people can sign to show their support for diversity
  • Rainbow face paint
  • Use chalk to make a massive rainbow path through the festival
  • Have posters and other resources for LGBTIQ young people
  • Promote events for LGBTIQ young people, their friends and allies

Come along for some Pizza and a planning session on Thursday 11th August 2016

The annual Banyule Youth Festival is on Sunday 11th September 2016 and this year we want to bring the rainbows
