Malahang Bike Hut

What:

The Bike Hut is a Banyule City Council Facility that is run by Volunteers who open up the Bike Hut at different times and offer a space to the local community to come in for a simple chat or to learn how to repair and maintain their own bikes. The Bike Hut provides tool and some parts to help you maintain their own bikes. The Bike Hut provides tool and some parts to help you maintain and fix your bike.

The aim is to teach people, especially young people, how to maintain and repair their own bikes and to develop life and social skills.

 

When:

The Bike Hut is Open most Thursday afternoons from 3.30am – 5.15pm and on the 4th Saturday of each month between approximately 10am and 12.30pm.

Volunteering:

We are always looking for volunteers who have some skills or the desire to develop skills in bicycle maintenance and repair, handy person skills and community engagement. If you are interested chat to someone at the Bike Hut or contact Banyule Youth Services.
