FREE 12-week hospitality program

HEAT
is a FREE 12-week hospitality program, which is aimed at 16 to 25 year olds who are unemployed and/or not engaged in education and training and are ready to take the next step toward employment in the hospitality industry.
HEAT is currently taking referrals for the next program, which starts on Monday 23rd of January, 2012.

Participants gain:

  • A nationally recognised qualification, Certificate II in Hospitality Operations and on-going assistance to find work placement and employment.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Barista Certificate
  • Support to find full or part time employment on completion of training and 16 weeks additional support in maintaining employment.

The HEAT program incorporates industry training, work readiness, personal and group support. HEAT is delivered in a flexible informal learning environment and helps young people gain self esteem, valuable experience with local businesses a secure transition into long-term employment.
