Community Volunteer awards - Nominate a Young Person!

Council to celebrate National Volunteers Week
 
Council celebrates National Volunteers week in May each year with the presentation of the Banyule Community Volunteer Awards and a Thankyou function in the Great Hall, The Centre Ivanhoe.
 
Nominations are called for across 4 categories.

  • Community Volunteer  (for individuals- includes Lifetime Achievement Award)
  • Young Volunteer ( between the ages of 12 and 25 as of 1st Jan 2011)
  • Community Group Award (groups, schools, organisations)
  • Good Neighbour Award

 
Nominees need to either live or volunteer within Banyule.
The on line nomination process will open on Tuesday 1st Feb 2011. Go to  https://banyule.smartygrants.com.au   for more information on eligibility and how to apply.
 
An invitation is also extended to volunteers working within the Banyule community to attend the function.
