Home growers harvest a feast for hundreds

Home growers of vegetables, herbs and fruit are being invited to harvest their crops for a Home Harvest Feast in March, which will showcase the culinary bounty that can be made from local, seasonal fresh food.
This year, Banyule City Council has joined Nillumbik Shire Council, which began the event last year, attracting 100 growers and 300 diners.
Growers who register to supply produce for the feast are provided with free tickets to the event where trained cooks create a sumptuous meal from the supplied produce.

Save a Tree

Do you use the net or phone to search for phone numbers? Do your phone books sit in the corner gathering dust or just go straight in to the recycle bin as soon as they arrive? If so, you can help to contribute towards a reduction in the use of our planet's resources by opting out of receiving phone books. You need to be the person in your family responsible for the phone account to make this request. For more info go to https://www.directoryselect.com.au/ds/
