NGV Teen Council

The National Gallery of Victoria is looking for local teens to join its first-ever NGV Teen Council and help shape a program for their peers.

Over one year, the council of 14- to 17-year-olds will exercise their creativity, experience the inner workings of the gallery and grow their professional and personal skills in the process.

I Made Art workshops at headspace Greensborough

Looking for a creative outlet in a relaxed and friendly environment?

headspace Greensborough's "I Made Art" workshops are open to young people aged 12-25 years. No artistic experience is neccessary and all workshops are FREE!

Top Arts Exhibition - National Gallery of Victoria

See some of the most impressive artwork from students who have completed Art or Studio Arts as part of the VCE at NGV's Top Arts.The pieces in the exhibition, which cover a diverse range of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture and multimedia, are a snapshot of the highest calibre artwork coming out schools in the state.The exhibition also presents selected developmental material, and offers an insight into students' ideas and unique working practices.


Street Art Program

We are currently looking for young people 14-19 who are engaged in graffiti culture to attend street Art sessions in Term 2. Sessions are run Wednesday nights in Bundoora and feature skilled street art facilitators to mentor young people, alongside Youth workers who provide participants support. Every term works towards a legal mural in the community. This is a FREE program.

2016 Banyule Art Salon Call for Entries

 In 2016, Banyule City Council is launching a biennial Banyule Art Salon - an exhibition celebrating the many, varied artistic talents of all who live or work in Banyule.

Banyule Council recognises that there are many talented artists in our community, and have created this opportunity for all artists to be a part of a professionally-curated and programmed exhibition in the beautiful Hatch Contemporary Arts Space.

All entries submitted will be exhibited! Prizes to be won…

Street Art Term 2 Now Recruiting

Street Art Term 2 workshops now recruiting:

Mondays, 6-8pm, Term 2 , Bundoora

We are currently recruiting for our Street Art program (Term 2).

This program will be delivered weekly on Monday nights with a professional Street Art facilitator focusing on skill development and culminating with a legal mural in West Heidelberg at the end of term.

The program is suitable for young people aged 14-19 with previous involvement in illegal graffiti.
