A free fun activity that covers important information about nutrition, healthy eating and lifestyle
For girls aged between 14 & 17 years.
 
To register for Girlzchef please leave your name and contact details with Macleod YMCA 9459 9022 or Banyule Council Youth Services 9457 9855
 
The program will run on Tuesday afternoons between 4.00-5.30 pm @ the Macleod Recreation & Fitness Centre ,YMCA

National Talent Competition

The 2011 National Talent Competition is now open, with some awesome prizes on offer for those of you who can RockIT, WriteIT, SnapIT, ShootIT or DesignIT.
 
If you're a young unsigned musician, writer, photographer, film maker or graphic designer, we want to hear from you.
 
By entering the National Talent Competition, you'll put yourself in the running to win prizes like a $3000 voucher or a 32GB Apple iPad, and have your work judged by industry hot shots in your chosen field.
 

Live Your Community - Sporting Mates

Live Your Community Sporting Mates is an exciting new program currently being launched by Extended Families Australia and Access for All Abilities in Banyule, Whittlesea and Nillumbik.
Sporting Mates provides volunteer support for children with disabilities to participate in sporting club and active recreation activities, assisting them to overcome barriers to inclusion and broaden their social networks.

Jet Setters 2011

Are you aged between 15 & 25?
Do you live, work study or play in Banyule?
Do you study sound technology, music production or similar?
Do you want to have access to specialised training sessions and gain real-life studio and live sound experience?
 
What will you do?
*Regularly assist with studio recording and live sound events.
* Participate in workplace specific training activities that will build your employability skills.
* Have regular access to Jets recording facilities.
* Record bands and run live PA events.

Lifeskills Program

-Are you aged 15-17?
-Are you out of school/ not working?
- Do you live in the City of Banyule?
Come and join the Lifeskills program at Jets Studio's in Bundoora.
Life Skills will cover:
Money and Budgeting
How to deal with fines and debt
First Aid & CPR basics
Career Planning
Job Skills
How to deal with stress
